The most intense bunny disapproval ever recorded on film.
No known survivors.

It's after 1 a.m., so I suppose I can now say that yesterday was a bad day-- a very bad day.
I'll write about it soon, I hope; get it out in the open. It's a recurring problem; the beast just won't die.

I'm going to have some pine-orange-banana juice (m-mm) with a tad...make that 2 tads of vodka. Then I'm going to read some entries in the Faux Faulkner contest -- god, I love those, especially the football one (can't remember the title or author just now). It's a sad thing that the contest has gone the way of the Bad Hemingway contest -- phttt...gone. Still, there is the contest in which writers attempt to mimic Shakespeare.

Wishes

Many, if not most, kids were force-fed nursery rhymes and bedtime stories that had them believing wishes would come true if they just believed. Those stories held the answers to happiness, success, acceptance, etc. All they had to do was wish--wish for true love, wish for beauty, strength, or greatness, wish for gold, wish upon a star, wish, wish, wish...

I wish there was another path to reach a destination or goal. Oops, I'm wishing again!

Well, there are other ways to get to where you want to be, and I found someone who can explain just what it is you need to do. I love his energy, his style, and his pragmatic outlook on life. You've probably heard of him or something he's written but didn't know how much more he had to offer. He speaks in simple terms and writes mainly to a teen audience, but his words can help more than just teens.

Last day of May just blew in from the east, staring down at me with its single full moon eye. When I stepped outside, my senses told me it was 1960. I was with my family and we were walking toward the airport in Hawai'i. There was a soothing breeze and a full moon just as there was tonight. Everything was there for a moment in time.

Ok, what am I reading? The Templar Legacy by Steve Berry; The Lessons of Terror: A History of Warfare Against Civilians by Caleb Carr; Edward Rutherfurd's Sarum; and
Strathmore, a light romance by Jessica Stirling. The Devil Soldier is another book by Carr that I'm anxious to delve into.

tempus fugit, mors venit

There is so much that requires immediate attention that the urgencies have whipped me into inaction. Like chasing fire flies, I run toward the spot where I saw one blink only to quickly dart off in a new direction to try to catch still another that just blinked. Though there are fire flies all around me, I find myself running around with a still empty mayonnaise jar.

It's now 2:50 AM, but it'll soon pass.
